Man City face K-League All Stars in Seoul on Wednesday

Manchester City will take on the K-League All Stars at Seoul World Cup Stadium on Wednesday 5 August, with kick-off set for 12:00 (UK time). The match is City’s second fixture of their 2026 Asia Tour, following a 1-1 draw with Inter Milan that ended in a 3-1 penalty shootout defeat.

The game will be broadcast live on mancity.com and the Official Man City App for CITY+ subscribers globally, with the exception of South Korea. Co-commentary will be provided by Alistair Mann and Clive Allen.

The K-League All Stars side will be jointly managed by Chung Jung-yong, newly appointed head coach of reigning league champions Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, and Chung Kyung-ho, head coach of Gangwon FC. Chung Jung-yong is best known for leading the South Korean Under-20 side to the World Cup final.

This will be the first meeting between City and the K-League All Stars. The Korean select side has previously faced Barcelona, Tottenham, Juventus, Atletico Madrid and Newcastle United. In their most recent outing, in July 2025, they defeated Newcastle 1-0.
