Manchester City departed Manchester on Tuesday for a three-match pre-season tour of Hong Kong and Seoul, with 28 players named in the initial travelling party ahead of the 2026/27 season.

The squad is without several first-team regulars. Players who reached the quarter-final stage or beyond at the FIFA World Cup this summer are not travelling due to mandatory rest periods permitted before the new Premier League season.

A small number of players who exited at the round of 16 will join the tour at a later stage and were not part of the group that left Manchester on Tuesday.

City's first fixture is against Italian champions Inter in Hong Kong on Saturday 1 August, with kick-off at 12:30 (UK). The tour then moves to Seoul, where City face a K League All-Stars side on Wednesday 5 August and Atletico Madrid on Sunday 9 August, both at 12:00 (UK).

The initial 28-man squad is: Tijjani Reijnders, Mateo Kovacic, Marcus Bettinelli, Nico, Rayan Ait-Nouri, Vitor Reis, Josko Gvardiol, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Savinho, Claudio Echeverri, Jeremy Monga, Antoine Semenyo, Abdukodir Khusanov, Phil Foden, Ryan McAidoo, Kaden Braithwaite, Divine Mukasa, Divin Mubama, Max Alleyne, Mahamadou Sangare, Floyd Samba, Jaden Heskey, Rico Lewis, Jack Wint, Matty Henderson-Hall, Stephen Mfuni, Max Chabot, Xavier Parker.
