Chelsea Women confirm several squad numbers ahead of 2026/27 season

Chelsea have released a partial squad number update for their women's team ahead of the 2026/27 campaign, with a full list still to be confirmed later in the summer.

New signings Melvine Malard, Katie McCabe and Manaka Matsukubo will wear no.9, no.15 and no.29 respectively, as previously announced.

Naomi Girma takes the no.4 shirt, previously worn by recently retired Millie Bright. Sandy Baltimore moves to no.11 — last held by Guro Reiten — while Wieke Kaptein will wear no.19.

Keira Walsh has been assigned no.21. Mara Alber, returning from a loan spell at Werder Bremen, will wear no.27.

Two academy graduates also receive updated numbers: Lola Brown takes no.25 and Vera Jones no.34. The club noted all numbers remain subject to change until the full list is finalised.
