Pedro Porro has been included in FIFA's Dream XI for the 2026 World Cup, recognition that follows Spain's title-winning campaign at the tournament.
The Tottenham right-back scored his first two international goals at the tournament, including the strike that sent Spain past France and into the final. He also contributed to Ferran Torres' winner in Sunday's final against Argentina.
FIFA's Dream XI was determined by a public vote on the governing body's website, with supporters selecting their best eleven from the 2026 tournament. Porro received the nod at right-back ahead of other contenders from the 32-team field.
The full FIFA Dream XI 2026 is: Vozinha (Cape Verde); Pedro Porro (Spain), Dayot Upamecano (France), Lisandro Martinez (Argentina), Marc Cucurella (Spain); Rodri (Spain), Michael Olise (France), Jude Bellingham (England); Lionel Messi (Argentina), Kylian Mbappé (France), Erling Haaland (Norway).
It is the first time since 2018 that an official team of the tournament has been confirmed, after no such XI was named following the 2022 edition. At the Russia tournament, Harry Kane earned inclusion after scoring six goals to help England reach the semi-finals for the first time in 28 years, also claiming the Golden Boot.
