Chelsea have completed the signing of 18-year-old Harrison Bettoni from Wigan Athletic, with the midfielder joining on a contract running until 2030.
Bettoni made 27 senior appearances for Wigan during the 2025/26 season, operating primarily as an attacking midfielder but also deployed as a striker.
The teenager made his senior debut in the EFL Trophy before marking his first League One start against Wimbledon with a free-kick equaliser from the bench on his first touch, then adding a late winner three minutes from time to secure Wigan's first away win of the campaign.
He added two further goals across the season — one in a 2-0 League One victory over Burton Albion and another as Wigan eliminated Preston North End in the FA Cup third round.
