Tottenham have added Andrew Crofts to Roberto De Zerbi's coaching staff as Assistant Head Coach, the club confirmed on 21 July 2026.
Crofts, a former midfielder, made over 450 appearances across clubs including Gillingham, Wrexham, Charlton, Brighton and Norwich City in the Premier League. He earned 29 caps for Wales during his playing career.
The appointment reunites Crofts with De Zerbi, under whom he previously served on the coaching staff at Brighton. He joined Brighton's Under-21 setup in 2019 and was promoted to U21 head coach in 2021. Following Graham Potter's departure in 2022, Crofts served as Brighton's interim head coach before moving into a senior coaching role on De Zerbi's arrival.
Most recently, Crofts worked as one of Fabian Hurzeler's assistant head coaches at Brighton. He also holds a position within Craig Bellamy's coaching staff with the Wales national team.
Crofts joins an already assembled backroom team at Tottenham that includes Bruno Saltor, Andreas Georgson, Marcattilio Marcattilii, Marcello Quinto, Cameron Campbell, Fabian Otte and Dean Brill.
Tottenham also confirmed three further appointments to their Performance department: Ali James as Head of Medical Services, Tom Tombleson as Head of Athletic Development and Agostino Tibaudi as Strength and Conditioning Coach.
