Eleven Chelsea players were called up for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with nine ultimately taking the field across six weeks of competition hosted by Canada, Mexico and the United States.

Enzo Fernandez was the standout performer among the Blues' contingent, scoring two goals in seven appearances as Argentina finished as runners-up. His goal against Egypt in the round of 16 was the 3,000th in World Cup history.

Fernandez's brace brought Chelsea's all-time World Cup scoring record to 35 goals, netted by 23 different players. The nine Chelsea players who featured this summer took the total number of Blues to have appeared at a World Cup to 88.

Moises Caicedo captained Ecuador on two occasions across four matches, playing the full 360 minutes. Nicolas Jackson contributed one assist in 233 minutes for Senegal, who were eliminated in the round of 32.

Reece James played five games for England, who finished third, logging 318 minutes. Teammate Trevoh Chalobah also reached the third-place match but played only five minutes. Malo Gusto featured five times for France in 118 minutes as Les Bleus finished fourth.

Pedro Neto registered one assist in five games for Portugal before their round-of-16 exit. Jorrel Hato made one appearance for the Netherlands, playing four minutes, while Kendry Paez came off the bench for Ecuador for 11 minutes.

Mike Penders was an unused substitute in all six of Belgium's matches as they reached the quarter-finals. Mamadou Sarr did not feature in Senegal's four games, also going unused throughout.
