Tottenham Hotspur held a formal ceremony at their stadium on Monday night to induct the Hall of Fame Class of 2026 and unveil a new permanent wall installation honouring the club's greatest figures.

Ledley King, Jenna Schillaci, Chris Hughton and the late club founder Bobby Buckle — represented by his granddaughter Trina Nichols — were inducted at the event. It marks the first time the club has added Hall of Famers since the initiative was paused nearly a decade ago following the closure of White Hart Lane.

The four had previously been presented to supporters on the pitch ahead of Saturday's Premier League match against Aston Villa before Monday's formal ceremony. Existing inductees, surviving relatives of deceased members, board directors and a selection of season ticket holders also attended.

Non-Executive Chairman Peter Charrington addressed the gathering, after which King, Schillaci and Hughton were interviewed on stage by hosts Ben Haines and Reshmin Choudhury. A video interview with Bobby Buckle's grandson Michael Mackman, recounting memories of his grandfather, was also screened.

All inductees in attendance drew back a curtain to officially reveal the new Hall of Fame wall installation, described as a modern reimagining of what was previously in place at White Hart Lane. Located near the players' tunnel, the collection of plaques depicting every inductee will be accessible to supporters through the club's behind-the-scenes stadium tours.

King captained the club and led Tottenham to League Cup glory in 2008. Schillaci, a long-serving captain of the women's side who helped the club reach the Women's Super League, becomes the first women's inductee in the Hall of Fame's history. Hughton, 15th on Tottenham's all-time appearance list, gave 25 years of service as a player, coach and assistant manager. Buckle was one of a small group of boys who founded the club 144 years ago under a lamp post on Tottenham High Road.

Tottenham's Hall of Fame was first launched in 2004, with 45 former players and managers inducted over the following 12 years before the programme was suspended.
