Morgan Rogers played a key role as England marked a historic milestone, setting up Harry Kane on the night the captain equalled Peter Shilton's all-time England record of 125 caps.
England hosted Czechia in the UEFA Nations League on Tuesday, looking to complete three wins from three in the international window. Kane's landmark appearance was the defining storyline of the evening at Wembley.
The home side took a first-half lead through a Vladimir Coufal own goal before Rogers provided the assist for Kane's first of the night. He played a precise first-time pass across goal from Elliot Anderson's cross-field ball, allowing the captain to tap in his 90th international goal.
Kane then added a second from a Lewis Hall corner to complete a 3-0 victory. The result capped an impressive international break for England, who had beaten Croatia 7-0 at the weekend — a game in which Rogers also got on the scoresheet.
Also in action on Tuesday, Geovany Quenda came off the bench to play the final 35 minutes of Portugal's 2-0 win over Czechia in UEFA Under-21 Championship qualifying. Dario Essugo, currently on loan at Strasbourg, also featured for Portugal.
Josh Acheampong was an unused substitute as England Under-21s ended their qualifying campaign with a 3-1 defeat away to the Republic of Ireland, though the Young Lions had already secured their place at next year's tournament.
