Rico Lewis has been called up to the England senior squad for their final match of the current international break, a home fixture against Czechia at Wembley on Tuesday 6 October (19:45 UK).
The call-up follows England's recent run of results: a 3-2 defeat to Spain, a 2-0 win in Czechia, and a 7-0 demolition of Croatia on Saturday.
Lewis becomes the third Manchester City player in Thomas Tuchel's current squad, joining Elliot Anderson and Marc Guéhi. He fills the vacancy left by Nico O'Reilly, who withdrew earlier this week after featuring in the Spain match.
The full-back steps up from the England Under-21s, where he played a part in Lee Carsley's side securing qualification for the 2027 UEFA U21 European Championship.
Lewis, a product of City's Academy, holds five senior England caps, with his most recent appearance coming in November 2024.
Following Tuesday's game at Wembley, City's international players are scheduled to return to the City Football Academy ahead of the resumption of domestic football the following weekend.
