Martin Odegaard has been voted Arsenal's men's Player of the Month for September, claiming 65% of the fan vote after a decisive run of performances.

The Arsenal captain scored two winning goals during the month — against Chelsea in the Premier League and Napoli in the Champions League — to separate himself from the other nominees.

Odegaard's first goal of September, his third of the season, came during a 2-1 win over Chelsea at Emirates Stadium, as he finished off a flowing team move past Emiliano Martinez.

Days later, he broke the deadlock on a difficult night in Naples, firing home off the post to secure all three points for Arsenal in their opening Champions League group match.

Having finished runner-up in the August vote, Odegaard topped the September poll with 65% of votes, finishing ahead of David Raya, Bruno Guimaraes and Ezri Konsa.
