Manchester City striker Divin Mubama has joined Championship side Southampton on a season-long loan, the club confirmed on 11 August 2026.
The 21-year-old arrives at Southampton after a promising pre-season with City's first team under Enzo Maresca, during which he scored two goals in two appearances.
Mubama joined Manchester City in August 2024 from West Ham United. His first senior appearance for the club came in an 8-0 FA Cup victory over Salford in January 2025, where he also got on the scoresheet at the Etihad Stadium.
He went on to dominate at under-21 level, netting 16 times in 13 Premier League 2 matches as City claimed both the League Phase and Playoff titles.
The England youth international then spent the 2025/26 campaign on loan at Stoke City in the Championship, scoring five goals in 26 appearances before an injury disrupted his second half of the season.
Mubama now drops down to the Championship again with Southampton as he continues to pursue senior experience away from the Etihad.
