Ghanaian musician King Promise has released a music video for 'Can't Tame Us (Chelsea Anthem)', filmed across two locations in Ghana and tied to the club's new home kit debut on African soil.

The video was directed by Derrick Arthur and officially released on 12 September as part of Chelsea's 'London to the World' cultural initiative. It was shot at the Rent Paid Football Exhibition Tournament, which King Promise organised himself, and at Nungua SDA Park — a ground in Nungua where the artist grew up playing football.

The tournament footage shows King Promise alongside Chelsea Supporter Clubs from across Ghana, including Team DWP, Team New Media and Amen X Eleven, and captures the club's new home kit being worn on African soil for the first time. The Nungua SDA Park sequences were filmed without a staged crowd, placing the artist at the site where his connection to football began.

'Returning to Nungua SDA Park was very important to me because that is where it all started for me. My love for football, spending time playing with my friends and connecting with community through football games was very special to me,' King Promise said.

Chelsea brand director Scott Fenton described the project as a natural fit. 'King Promise came to us with the idea for the track and, knowing how much Chelsea means to him, it felt like a really natural collaboration,' he said.

'This is about celebrating our fans in Africa and the culture around the club, and showing what Chelsea can mean beyond the 90 minutes. Music is such a powerful way to bring people together, and this is a brilliant example of that.'

The track is set to feature at Chelsea fixtures throughout the season. King Promise, who grew up supporting Chelsea in Nungua, has previously cited club legend Michael Essien as a childhood idol.
