Chelsea striker Joao Pedro has been shortlisted for the Premier League Creative Moment of the Month award for September, recognised for a passage of skill during the draw with Hull City.

The Brazilian had already won the Premier League Player of the Month award for August, making this his second consecutive monthly nomination.

The sequence that earned him the nod came late in the Hull draw, with Chelsea pushing for a winner after Pedro had scored the equaliser. He first played a dummy to let Reece James' pass run through to Danny Welbeck, then moments later redirected Cole Palmer's ball to Welbeck again with a back-heeled flick.

Pedro is one of five players shortlisted for the September award. The other nominees are Martin Zubimendi (Arsenal), Emiliano Buendia (Aston Villa), Abdul Fatawu (Ipswich Town) and Liam Delap (Nottingham Forest).

Public voting is open until midday on Monday 28 September, with the winner to be announced at 1pm on Thursday 1 October.
