Hazard's Arsenal goal voted Chelsea's best-ever GOTS

Eden Hazard's solo strike against Arsenal has been voted the greatest Goal of the Season in Chelsea's history, following a fan vote conducted on the Chelsea Official App during the international break.

Around two-thirds of Chelsea supporters chose the Belgian's effort over Michael Essien's long-range volley against the same opponents, which came roughly a decade earlier.

Hazard, the only player to have won the club's Goal of the Season award three times, navigated a competitive bracket to claim the overall title. His route included wins over Essien's volley against Barcelona, Ramires' solo effort in a victory over Manchester City, and his own solo strike at Anfield from September 2018.

In the semi-finals, Hazard's goal eliminated Moises Caicedo's halfway-line strike against Bournemouth before defeating Essien's effort in the grand final.

The vote was held on the Chelsea Official App across the duration of the international break.
