Haaland, Guéhi and Anderson up for City's monthly award
Erling Haaland, Marc Guéhi and Elliot Anderson are the three nominees for Manchester City's Etihad Player of the Month award for September 2026.

Manchester City have named Erling Haaland, Marc Guéhi and Elliot Anderson as the three nominees for the Etihad Player of the Month award for September, a month in which the club won all five of their fixtures.
Guéhi featured in four of those five games and kept three clean sheets, with standout performances in the 2-0 win at Porto and the 1-0 victories over Coventry City and Manchester United.
Anderson, described as industrious and inventive, has established himself as a key figure in City's midfield. The England international impressed in all three of those same fixtures, including a strong display in the 1-0 win at Old Trafford.
Haaland scored in all four games he played during the month. The Norwegian opened with a headed winner against Coventry, netted a brace in Porto, scored the decisive goal in the 199th Manchester derby, and added a fifth in a 5-3 win over Sunderland.
