Cole Palmer and Morgan Rogers headline Chelsea's Fantasy Premier League options for Gameweek 5, with the Blues among the division's most productive attacking sides under Xabi Alonso.
Palmer (£9.7m) has delivered an attacking return in each of his first four gameweeks, including a contribution in the 2-2 draw with Hull City in Gameweek 4. Chelsea's attack has scored 18 goals in six matches this season. Palmer averaged nearly seven points per match and is tracking to surpass his record 244-point FPL season in 2023/24, when he recorded 22 goals and 13 assists.
Morgan Rogers (£7.7m) is the most-transferred-in player ahead of the Gameweek 5 deadline. Nearly 500,000 managers have added the summer signing, who now appears in just under 40% of squads. Rogers is the only player to register an attacking return — three goals and one assist — in each of the first four gameweeks.
Rogers leads all Chelsea players for chances created (10) and passes into the penalty box (11). He faces Brentford on Friday, against whom he scored twice in the Premier League while at Aston Villa.
Pedro Neto (£6.5m) offers value at wing-back. The Portugal international has scored against Brighton in the league and netted in the Carabao Cup. He leads Chelsea with 50 successful passes in the final third and is the cheapest Blues attacker to have started a league match this season.
In goal, Emi Martinez (£5.0m) has registered a save point in each of his three appearances, making 15 saves in total — more than any other goalkeeper in that period. At £5.0m, he is priced below most rivals playing for top-four contenders.
For the captaincy, Erling Haaland (£15.5m) remains the headline option ahead of Manchester City's home game against Sunderland. The Norwegian leads all players for shots (16), shots on target (9) and big chances (7), and has scored in three consecutive gameweeks, claiming maximum bonus points each time.
Morgan Gibbs-White (£8.0m) of Nottingham Forest is flagged as an alternative captain against bottom-side Coventry City, who conceded five goals last time out. The midfielder has three attacking returns in three gameweeks, takes penalties, and leads all players for big chances created (4) this season. Over 370,000 managers have already added him to their squads.
