PSG manager Luis Enrique has praised Manchester City as one of Europe's top sides ahead of Wednesday's Champions League group stage meeting at the Etihad Stadium.

"I used to watch Pep's City and I always watch Manchester City. As a football supporter, I like to watch Enzo Maresca's teams play," Enrique said at his pre-match press conference.

"They're very entertaining and attacking. They're having a good time of things and to win six of six is no mean feat. That speaks volumes to their level."

City head into the fixture having won all six of their Champions League matches this season, sitting top of the table with 18 points.

Enrique also addressed the return of Gianluigi Donnarumma, who joined City last September and will face his former club for the first time on Wednesday.

"I love Gigio and feel really glad I got to work with him," Enrique said. "It was tough when the decision was made for him to leave but that's football. I'm really happy to see him playing at the same level he did at PSG and doing so well at Manchester City."

Enrique, who has guided PSG to back-to-back Champions League titles, described the fixture as both a challenge and a motivation. "We're very motivated to play them because we want to show the level we are," he added.
