England secured a comfortable 3-0 win over Czechia at Wembley to round off the October international break, with Manchester City pair Elliot Anderson and Marc Guéhi both playing key roles.

Harry Kane opened the scoring with an own goal forced from Vladimir Coufal after a sustained spell of England possession. Anderson then helped set up a second, playing the ball wide to Morgan Rogers, who swept it across the face of goal.

Kane added a headed goal just before half-time on his 125th England cap, with Anderson again influential in midfield. Bayern Munich's Kane completed his brace on 57 minutes as Thomas Tuchel's side continued to dominate.

Guéhi helped England keep Czechia without a single shot on target before both he and Anderson were withdrawn just after the hour, replaced by Jarrad Branthwaite and James Garner respectively.

Elsewhere in UEFA Nations League League A Group 3, Spain came from behind to beat Croatia 2-1. Ivan Perisic put Croatia ahead on 17 minutes, but Mikel Merino equalized on 61 minutes. Croatia were then reduced to 10 men when Perisic received a second yellow card, and Merino struck again late to hand Croatia a defeat despite the efforts of Joško Gvardiol and Mateo Kovačić.

Earlier, Abdukodir Khusanov played 83 minutes as Uzbekistan lost 2-0 to South Korea in a friendly, with goals from Son Heung-Min and Oh Se-Hun deciding the match.

England Under-21s lost 3-1 to the Republic of Ireland, with City loanees Max Alleyne, Stephen Mfuni, Divin Mubama and Divine Mukasa all featuring. Tyler Dibling gave England an early lead before Tommy Lonergan scored twice and Conor McManus added a third. The result carries no consequences, as England's Under-21s had already qualified for the 2027 Under-21 Euros.
