Chelsea's Under-18 side claimed a 5-0 win over Bournemouth in the Under-18 Premier League at Cobham, with Jashayde Greenwood, Isaac McGillvary, Jacob Dako and Eden Perez all on the scoresheet alongside an own goal.

Greenwood broke the deadlock in the 14th minute, holding up Toby Bell's long pass before threading Gabriel Sambou through to slip in the striker, who finished right-footed into the bottom-left corner. McGillvary doubled the lead in the 26th minute from Andrew Pennie's assist.

The game turned decisively in the 56th minute when Bournemouth substitute Kelvin Arthur was shown a straight red card for a challenge on Dako just outside the box. Dako then stepped up to take the resulting free-kick and thumped a right-footed effort into the top-left corner to make it 3-0.

Perez added a fourth in the 71st minute after Dako squared across goal, before substitute Bilal Shah drove into the box and saw his effort deflect off Jake Drewett to complete the rout in the 78th minute.

The result gives Chelsea four league wins from six Under-18 Premier League matches, accumulating 12 points. It follows last month's 6-1 victory over Reading at the same venue.

Chelsea Under-18s are next in action on Saturday 10 October, hosting Manchester United at Cobham in the Under-18 Premier League Cup.
