Arsenal suffered their first Premier League defeat of the season on Saturday, losing 3-0 away at Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium.

Pascal Gross, Charalampos Kostoulas and Chema Andres scored for Brighton to hand the Gunners a heavy loss. Arsenal had chances of their own, with Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz both seeing efforts saved by goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen.

The defeat ends a run of matches that had kept Arsenal away from Emirates Stadium for four consecutive fixtures. The Gunners will now break for international duty before returning home on Saturday, October 10, when Leeds United visit N5.
