Ayyoub Bouaddi will wear the No.32 shirt at Manchester City after completing his move from Lille on a five-year contract, the club confirmed on Wednesday.

The 18-year-old Moroccan midfielder is the fourth signing of the summer at the Etihad Stadium, following Elliot Anderson, Jeremy Monga and Gerónimo Rulli.

Bouaddi arrives with 96 Lille appearances and eight senior Morocco caps to his name, having featured prominently for his country at this summer's World Cup.

The No.32 is familiar territory for the ball-playing midfielder, who wore the same number throughout his time in Ligue 1 with the French club.

The shirt number carries notable history at City — it was worn by Carlos Tevez across four seasons at the Etihad, during which the Argentine striker played 148 games, scored 74 goals and collected the Premier League, FA Cup and Community Shield.
